John VoelkerBears-8536------------------7/9/2009
NOTES:Bears go up big but the Chiefs got to within a TD in the 4th. Bears put it away and the game crashed so no good stats available. Great game Linus!
---------
Vic Artibey 2Giants-6314
John VoelkerBears-8528------------------5/2/2009
NOTES:McMahon went 15-19/224/2TD/1Int as the Giants kept the Bear runners in check. Y.A. Tittle blew up for 323 yards passing but 2 picks (1 in the end zone) cost the Giants. This game was very close besides that. Great game Vic.
---------
Vic Artibey 2Cowboys-927
John VoelkerBears-8523------------------5/2/2009
NOTES:Bears intercept Aikman 5 times and Punky QB goes 11 for 25 for a modes 125 yards as the Bears D enables another win. Payton rushed for 105 yards and Emmitt Smith picks up 95.
---------
Linus PierceRaiders-670
John VoelkerBears-8513------------------3/19/2009
NOTES:A total defensive struggle. Bears were up 6-0 with 4 min left in game. Then OG Tom Thayer scoops up a Payton fumble and rumbles 25 yards to score the only TD of the game. Chicago at 161 yards of total offense, but Bearly escape.
---------
John VoelkerBears-8523
Linus PierceDolphins-7220------------------3/18/2009
NOTES:Chicago committed 2 TOs but held on in the last minute of yet another Strat Thriller Special. Both offenses were efficient but not spectacular, as can be expected vs. two tough defenses.
---------
Linus PierceDolphins-7220
John VoelkerColts-5814------------------3/17/2009
NOTES:A defensive struggle as the Colts lost 5 fumbles and the Dolphins lost 3 and Morrall also threw 2 picks but the Dolphins came out on top.
---------
John VoelkerColts-5841
Linus PierceGiants-6327------------------3/13/2009
NOTES:Gino Marchetti collects 3 sacks while his DBs intercept the venerable Y.A. Tittle 4 times to usurp the Crown from the vaunted G Men.
---------
Art CookePackers-6224
Linus PierceGiants-6341------------------3/7/2009
NOTES:The Giants overcome a 17-7 deficit as Tittle goes 35 for 45 for 284 and 4 TDs.
---------
Linus PierceGiants-6345
Vic Artibey 2Chargers-6322------------------3/3/2009
NOTES:Tittle throws for 310 and the Giants intercept Rote 4 times, returning one for a TD. Paul Lowe runs for 122 in the loss.
---------
David Bowman Colts-5817
Vic Artibey 2Chargers-6319------------------2/6/2009
NOTES:Overall the Colts played great defense with the Chargers first first down coming with 6 minutes remaining in the first half. The Colts took a 10 to 0 lead but then went cold as the Chargers scored 19 unanswered points. Lenny Moore scored a meaningless TD late in the game but two missed Field Goals in the red zone were the Colts undoing.
---------
Vic Artibey 2Chargers-6334
Linus PierceDolphins-7232------------------1/21/2009
NOTES:Awesome game where the 63 Chargers dynamic running duo of Keith Lincoln and Paul Lowe each ran for over 140 yds and each got a TD. The Chargers were able to outgain the Dolphins 548-338 and held the ball for 9 more minutes. The key was execution by the offense (in other words rolling on the offenses cards) and hitting three big running plays on the defense (read: 3 snake eye rolls)...
---------
David BowmanColts-5813
Linus PierceDolphins-7223------------------1/17/2009
NOTES:Colts take an early 10-0 lead with the help of two interceptions, one returned for a TD. Dolphins score 10 in the second quarter with the help of a Colts fumble that led to a FG. Dolphins get 2 FGs to the Colts 1, then put it away with a 23 yard scoring pass from Morrall to Briscoe with about 6 minutes left.
---------
John VoelkerBears-856
John VoelkerPackers-6217------------------12/26/2008
NOTES:Dolphins win another defensive struggle, overcoming 12 penalties and 2 picks by Morrall. McMahon was also picked twice, the second one giving the Dolphins the ball on the Bears 18 and setting up a TD for the final points of the game halfway through the fourth quarter.
---------
Linus PierceDolphins-7215
John VoelkerPackers-6213------------------12/19/2008
NOTES:Dolphins win a defensive struggle, stopping a 2 point try and recovering an onside kick to hold on at the end.
